On December 14th the Building Material Expo was held in Tokyo. Sunman (Hong Kong) Limited and their Japanese general agent, Japan Housing Service Co.,Ltd caused excitement at the exhibition.
SunMan exhibited their new eArche family of solar panels, which can be seamlessly integrated with curved building surfaces and carports. eArche is designed to be fully integrated with carports as a standard component, which saves materials and installation time. “eArche will give us more opportunity to expand our core business and penetrate the solar industry”, one local carport supplier said.
A journalist said that eArche is a welcome surprise to the building material and solar industry, and a step in the right direction for BIPV. Customizable size, ultra-light weight and flexibility make eArche a true alternative building material which will broaden the scope and application of solar, such as installation on surfaces that are curved, lightweight, or mobile.
“eArche products are intended to change the way how solar is deployed in the market, making solar energy more accessible and affordable to all. eArche is available in Japan, China, Australia, Philippines, Thailand and other markets,” SunMan commented.
